(English version) FOCUS GROUP: Grey Panthers opinion (more comfortably for Milan and neighboring areas)

We are coming to the Senior test! After having gathered and compared thoughts, reflections, technical knowledge and opinions of qualified representatives of different countries, after having built prototypes in the various phases of the NESTORE project, here we are at the most important test: the Focus Group of potential users of the NESTORE system. To learn opinions and appreciations, criticisms and advice. But let’s see in detail.

Study structure:

The study wants to validate the scenarios identified for the NESTORE exploitation. The selected methodology is the focus groups. In particular, we want to design 5 focus groups divided on two levels with the purpose of respectively

• investigate the citizen’s attitude towards prevention and build the service for each scenario with him.
• The study foresees the participation of the volunteers in two first focus groups (first level) and the subsequent assignment of the same people  to one of the three focus groups of second level in relation to aptitude, preferences and availability.
• Each focus group, both first and second level, will last approximately 2 hours.

The desired size and target population for the first and second level focus groups are shown in Table 2 and Table 3 respectively.

Pre-requisites required:

Participants are not required to have any additional prerequisites, only the desire to express their opinion on the issues of prevention and healthy aging in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Place:

The focus groups will take place in the Politecnico Foundation (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, 32 – Milan).

Following each focus group, participants will be invited to a rich buffet set up on site.

Preliminary Dates:

The focus groups will take place indicatively between the second and fourth week of September. The preliminary dates identified are shown in table 1. They may be subject to change and will be confirmed later.
